Are you open year round?
Our General Store is open seasonally from March through December.
During the winter months we close so we can focus on farm operations and preparing for the next season.
We reopen each spring and announce our opening date on our website and social media.
What kind of food do you serve?
Our menu features simple, high-quality food made with meats raised on our farm.
Menu favorites include:
• Farm-raised beef burgers
• Tallow Fries
• Milkshakes
• Hand-scooped ice cream
• Coffee
• Rotating specialty items and seasonal menu features
Do you sell your farm-raised meat at the General Store?
Yes! In addition to serving burgers and sandwiches made with our farm-raised beef and pork, we also sell a variety of our meats in the General Store.
Selection can vary, but we often have items such as:
• steaks
• ground beef
• pork cuts
• bacon
• other seasonal farm products
The store often has even more variety than what is available online.
Do you have indoor and outdoor seating?
Yes! We offer both indoor and outdoor seating so guests can enjoy their meal comfortably while visiting the farm.
Our outdoor seating is a great place to relax and take in the views of the surrounding countryside while enjoying burgers, fries, milkshakes, or ice cream.
Is the DMD Family Farm General Store family friendly?
Yes! Our General Store is designed to be a relaxed and family-friendly place to gather.
Families love stopping by for burgers, fries, milkshakes, and hand-scooped ice cream while spending time together on the farm. We also have a park for kids to enjoy, along with indoor and outdoor seating so everyone can relax and enjoy the visit.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Dogs are welcome in our outdoor areas of the General Store.
For the comfort and safety of all guests, we ask that dogs remain on a leash. Please also clean up after your pet.
Do you host large groups or gatherings?
Yes! We love welcoming groups such as birthday parties, family gatherings, and church groups.
For larger groups we offer a special group menu that includes:
• Pans of sliders
• Pans of fries
• Pitchers of soda
We appreciate 48 hours notice for large groups so we can prepare.
Do you host events?
Yes. Throughout the year we host special events at the farm, including seasonal gatherings and community events.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards and cash at the General Store.
Is the General Store wheelchair accessible?
Our store is partially accessible, but it is not fully ADA compliant at this time.
