About Our Beef & Pork

What makes your beef different?
Our cattle are born and raised on our farm in Greene County, Tennessee, allowing us full oversight from start to finish. Grass-fed and grain-finished for balanced marbling and rich flavor, our beef reflects the care and stewardship we put into raising every animal.
How is your pork raised?
Our hogs are raised on our farm in Greene County, Tennessee from piglet to harvest. With thoughtful feeding practices — including grains soaked in whole raw milk for added flavor.
What Does grass-fed, grain-finished Mean?
Our cattle have access to pasture their entire lives. They graze on grass throughout the growing season and are carefully finished during the final 90 days with a precise grain ration to enhance marbling, tenderness, and overall flavor.
This approach allows us to raise healthy cattle while producing beef that’s richly flavored and consistently tender — the way we prefer to serve it at our own table.
What type of grain do the animals eat?
Our cattle are finished on a custom blend of corn, cottonseed, wheat, and gluten to support healthy growth and develop rich marbling. Our hogs are fed a mixture of corn and soybean meal, often blended with Jersey raw milk for added flavor. Much of the corn used in our feed rations is grown right here on our farm.
Are your meats free of hormones and steroids?
Yes. We do not use growth hormones or steroids. We raise our animals the way we want our own families to eat — with quality, integrity, and fewer unknowns.
What breed of cows do you have?
They are Angus or Angus-Hereford mix.
What breed of pigs do you have?
They are Yorkshire & Red Wattle mix.
Where is your meat processed?
Our animals are processed at a local, USDA-inspected facility to ensure safety and quality.
How is your meat packaged?
All meat you buy online is vacuum sealed and flash frozen for freshness. Each cut is labeled and protected so it stays freezer-ready and secure during shipping.
How long will the meat stay good in my freezer?
Vacuum sealed and properly frozen meat can maintain excellent quality in the freezer for many months when kept frozen. We recommend using most cuts within 12 months for best flavor.
